Hi Amy, so tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m a Florida transplant, I used to live in NJ, and love the sunshine. I do the majority of my writing outside now, which I just love!

What inspires you?
Stories of faith and second chances inspire me. Beautiful weather inspires me.

What are you working on at the moment and what can you tell us about it?
I’m working on the 3rd and final book in the Brotherhood of District 23 series… It’s the story of Jax, a firefighter and former marine who is struggling with PTSD after he returns from deployment.

What genres do you write and are there any genres you would like to write?
Currently I write Contemporary Romance and Erotica, but I would LOVE to write a romantic comedy.

When did you first realise you wanted to become a writer?
I’ve always wanted to write; I was a journalism major in college, and have been writing nonfiction for a long time. As an avid reader of novels, I felt like I had so many stories to tell I just couldn’t stop myself from writing and switching over to fiction

What is your favourite book?
So hard to pick just one, but one of my favorite series is the Men of Steel series by MJ Fields.

What is your favourite movie?
Love Actually. It’s a romance but a Christmas movie. I watch it over and over at the holidays. I also love how British it is! Haha

Brilliant movie. What do you do when you’re not writing?
Work. I’m also a consultant for software implementation…

Do you have any advice for aspiring writers?
Just keep writing. And then get a really good editor. It’s worth it.

What book are you reading at the moment?
Right now, I’m a little backed up on my kindle, but I’m beta reading Blurry by Carina Adams and it’s AMAZING.

What do you think makes your books stand out from the crowd?
My series is about firefighters and I used to actually be a firefighter. I think that brings a different perspective to the table.

Describe your writing style in ten words or less.
My style is realistic, angsty love stories.

Do you have a favourite character in your books?
Right now, my favorite character is Matt Cavanaugh, the hero in Fully Involved, Book 2 in my series.

Tea or coffee? And how do you take it?
Coffee, cream only.

Do you have any pets?
I have FOUR cats lol

Who or what has made the biggest influence on your life?
My brother; we’re very close. We’re both entrepreneurs and we talk all the time about our businesses and what our next move is.

If you were invited to the Oscars, who would you take with you?
Probably my best friend, Jess Epps.

If you could be any animal what would it be?
A cat, with me as the owner. My cats have it good. LOL

Pick a Chris – Pine, Pratt, Evans or Hemsworth?
Chris Hemsworth is the visual inspiration for Jax in the book I’m working on so I’d have to say him.

What song always gets you on the dance floor?
Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard is my go to. I wish it played everytime I walked into a room.
