Isaac Hempstead Wright Confirms His Return to Game of Thrones
Isaac Hempstead Wright, or as he is better known Bran Stark was missed during the latest season of Game of Thrones. The last time we saw Bran was in the season 4 finale where he asked the three eyed raven if he’d ever walk again. The young actor has now confirmed his return to the hit series for season 6. There has been a few guesses as to where Bran has been during his time away from our screens and the actor told the Irish Examiner, “I can’t say a lot, but I am back this season, and it’s going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions.”
He also explained that he has yet to watch the fifth season of the series as he has been busy with school and he is also unsure of the fate of Kit Harington’s Jon Snow after his untimely death at the end of the series.
Showrunner David Benioff had a bit more insight into Bran’s season long absence and compared the time away while he develops his warg skills with the Three-Eyed Raven to Luke Skywalker training in the Star Wars saga.
Like, it would be far less interesting, after The Empire Strikes Back to have an hour-long movie in between Empire and Return of the Jedi where Luke is training. It’s so much cooler to cut from end of Empire to beginning of Return, where he’s become the Jedi. – David Benioff
So there you have it Thrones fans one of the missing Stark children will make his return next season, even if it is still unclear if Jon Snow will return but we’re definitely going to keep everything crossed.
