A Story of Love, Hate and Haute Couture in The Dressmaker Trailer

The adaptation of Rosalie Ham’s 2000 novel The Dressmaker has received its very first trailer. Written and directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse, and starring Kate Winslet, Liam Hemsworth, Judy Davis and Hugo Weaving. The Dressmaker is set in the 1950s and tells the story of Australian fashion designer Tilly Dunnage who goes back to her hometown to take care of her sick mother, but rumours of her involvement in the death of a young boy threaten to ruin her return.

Release date for the UK is 6th November 2015.
