Wes Craven Working on Adaptation of Daryl Gregory’s We Are All Completely Fine

Horror legend Wes Craven is attached to write the script for Syfy’s new project, Daryl Gregory’s We Are All Completely Fine and also direct the potential pilot under a new first-look deal with Universal Cable Productions. Craven along with Ben Smith & Jeffrey Weiner from Captivate Entertainment, and Sara Bottfeld from Industry Entertainment will executive produce the project.

Wes is an icon whose films have captivated audiences for decades. We’re thrilled to be working with him and to be able to bring his enormous talent and unique blend of horror, humor and intelligence to television. – Dawn Olmstead (UCP EVP)

Under the same deal Craven will also be bringing a series based on his own 1991 movie The People Under The Stairs to television.

We Are All Completely FineHarrison is the Monster Detective, a storybook hero. Now he’s in his mid-thirties and spends most of his time not sleeping.

Stan became a minor celebrity after being partially eaten by cannibals. Barbara is haunted by the messages carved upon her bones. Greta may or may not be a mass-murdering arsonist. And for some reason, Martin never takes off his sunglasses.

Unsurprisingly, no one believes their horrific tales until they are sought out by psychotherapist Dr. Jan Sayer. What happens when these likely-insane outcasts join a support group? Together they must discover which monsters they face are within and which are lurking in plain sight.
