16390_740011309428685_2383166499754019488_nFreya Barker craved reading about ‘real’ people, those who are perhaps less than perfect, but just as deserving of romance, hot monkey sex and some thrills and chills in their lives – So she decided to write about them. Always creative, from an early age on she danced and sang, doodled, created, cooked, baked, quilted and crafted. Her latest creative outlets were influenced by an ever-present love for reading. First through blogging, then cover art and design, and finally writing. Born and raised in the Netherlands, she packed her two toddlers, and eight suitcases filled with toys to move to Canada. No stranger to new beginnings, she thrives on them. With the kids grown and out in the world, Freya is at the ‘prime’ of her life. The body might be a bit ramshackle, but the spirit is high and as adventurous as ever. Something you may see reflected here and there in some of her heroines…. none of who will likely be wilting flowers.

When she’s not busy reading, writing, and plotting future books, L. A. is mum to two gorgeous children, and their hyper terrier, Rocky.

61JZsIbARyL__UX250_Tracie Podger currently lives in Kent, UK with her husband and a rather obnoxious cat called George. She’s a Padi Scuba Diving Instructor with a passion for writing. Tracie has been fortunate to have dived some of the wonderful oceans of the world where she can indulge in another hobby, underwater photography. She like getting up close and personal with sharks. Tracie writes contemporary romance but likes to explore relationships that are not always easy and there isn’t always a happy ending. She likes to have her books feel real with realistic timelines and with strong women who don’t run because the going gets tough. Sex is important between loving people therefore all her books contain graphic scenes but are not classed as erotica. The character’s relationship is more important.

Zara Chapman started writing her very first book in August 2010, only to finish it a couple of months later as a 30 page book, but she knew there was more she could add. Any time she had out of school, she would be rewriting it, in the hope of her making it into a novella. She is currently studying NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing, as well as writing when she can while there. She has also managed to plan a couple more stories, adding the total to over 50. In November, she was mixing college with her voluntary job in the library, and writing for NaNoWriMo, where she managed to win, writing over the 50,000 word goal. The story that she wrote for NaNoWriMo was called Two Worlds Collide, which she has completed at an incredible 106,000 words. She is in the process of writing the sequels to Sticks and Stones May Break My Bones and Dreams Really Do Come True.

51aaEK6riSL__UX250_C.S. Woolley was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire and raised in the nearby town of Wilmslow. From an early age she discovered she had a flair and passion for writing. This was fuelled by winning local poetry and short story competitions during her years at Mottram St. Andrews Primary School.
During high school, she continued to write and found her time split between acting, writing and her studies. At 14 she began writing novels. University did nothing to change her love of writing. C.S. spent a year reading Law at Manchester Metropolitan University before changing her mind and moving to read English at Hull University. After graduating she moved to Nottingham where she lives now and heads up the team of volunteers that run the Hope House Youth Café.
In 2010, C.S published her first novel, Nicolette Mace – The Raven Siren: The Kevin Metis Saga. Since 2010 she has published books in two series – The Chronicles of Celadmore and Nicolette Mace: The Raven Siren.
More recently C.S has taken part in charity projects that include producing content for charity books such as Standing by the Watchtower: Volume 1. C.S has also acted in several plays and films including Weekend.
