Sarah Polley Heading Little Women Remake
We have seen the 1868 Louisa May Alcott novel, ‘Little Women’ adapted numerous times over the years and in it’s newest remake, actress and director, Sarah Polley and Sony exec, Amy Pascal are teaming up to give us their version of the classic.
Originally published in two parts, Little Women chronicles the trials and tribulations of four sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March, growing up in the post-US Civil War era and is loosely based on the author and her three sisters.
It’s unclear whether Sarah Polley will also direct the film but Amy is on board for production!
The last time ‘Little Women’ was remade for the big screen was in 1994 and starred Winona Ryder and Kirsten Dunst, you can check out the trailer below!
We’ve already been thinking about our dream castings, who would you like to see in the roles of the sisters?
