Fifty Shades of Grey Passes Censor without Cuts
The BBFC, which has sometimes been criticised for being harsh in it’s censoring has given Fifty Shades of Grey an 18 and it will be screened uncut. This will be good news to fans who feared some of the more risque scenes could end up being removed when the movie goes on release on 13th February in the UK.
The film, which stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, is described as showing “strong sex and nudity” as well as “the portrayal of erotic role play”.
Films rated 18 are for adults. No-one under 18 is allowed to see an 18 film at the cinema or buy / rent an 18 rated video. No 18 rated works are suitable for children.
