Golden Globes Winners and Fashion Hits and Misses

_80199995_80199994The HFPA Golden Globes kicked off this seasons big awards ceremonies in LA last night. The Globes often set the tone of how the awards will be shared out at the other big ceremonies such as the SAG’s, Academy Awards and the Bafta’s although  the latter has some vast difference in the nominations. It was great to see Brits Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) and Joanne Froggat (Downton Abbey) recieve awards for their recent efforts. Well done to them. With ‘Boyhood’ claiming the award for best movie, the night was full of surprises when a number of ‘shoe ins’ failed to be recognised. George Clooney was on hand to collect his ‘Lifetime Acheivment’ award and gave a powerful speech on his love for wife Amal and Je Suis Charlie. Other winners and losers are the ladies in the fashion stakes. Sorry Keira but what were Chanel thinking? Our award goes to Jennifer Lopez – photos at the bottom. Here are the nominees and winners.
