Kate Moss adds Glamour to David Walliams’ ‘The Boy in the Dress’ in First Pictures from BBC Drama
Supermodel Kate Moss is fast becoming as sought after on TV as she is on the catwalk.
Just months after appearing on a celebrity edition of Gogglebox, the fashion icon is set to be part of BBC One’s Christmas schedule with a cameo appearance in festive film The Boy in the Dress.
Moss, 40, will play herself in the BBC adaptation of David Walliams’ children’s book about a young boy, Dennis, who dreams of escaping his mundane life and entering the fashion industry.
In the first pictures from the film, Moss is seen adorned in a red Vivienne Westwood gown, Manolo Blahnik shoes and dripping in jewels.
Walliams added: “The Boy In The Dress has an all star cast, but Kate Moss really is the icing on the cake.”
The pair first worked together on a Comic Relief sketch last year.
The Boy in the Dress is the third of Walliams’ novels to be adapted for BBC’s festive schedule following Gangsta Granny and Mr. Stink.
The film airs on Boxing Day on BBC One.
