Great news for our friends over the pond, streaming network, Netflix has picked up series 2 of the hit BBC 2 show. Series two  picks up right where the season one cliff-hanger left off on January 16th 2015. The two characters are yet to meet on screen, although Gillian Anderson nearly gave the game away on BBC1’s the One Show earlier this week.

Fans in the UK and Ireland were lucky to see the start of the 2nd series this week with RTE screening it first last Sunday and BBC2 scheduling it in for Thursday nights at 9PM.

The Fall was created by Allan Cubitt and revolves around a PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) investigation in Belfast into a string of Murders.

After the PSNI are unable to make any progress on the case(s), Detective Superintendent Gibson, who is on secondment from London’s Metropolitan Police Service, arrives at the Belfast police station to review the murder investigation and close the case.
