Gotham to Premiere on UK Screens This Month
We’ve been waiting what seems like forever for this!
The wait is almost over; Gotham will hit UK screens on Monday 13 October at 9pm.
The season premiere, which will be shown on Channel 5, promises to unveil many of Gotham’s most notorious characters to UK viewers, as well as introducing some new ones.
The first episode will follow Detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as he settles into his new role at GCPD and attempts to put a stop to the criminal underworld, which is slowly poisoning the city he used to love.
Along the way, we’re set to meet a young, tragedy-stricken Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), a fearsome nightclub boss by the name of Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) and the insecure, yet vicious Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor), who goes by the nickname of ‘Penguin.’
After a hugely successful premiere in the US, Gotham is set to be one of the must-see shows of the year. Episodes can be watched on Channel 5 on Monday nights or on Demand 5 up to 28 days after the episode was originally shown.
