The Emmys are Coming….. 19 Nominations for Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones has a massive 19 Emmy nominations this year.
From the well known Best Drama and Best Supporting Actor they are also up for some uncommonly heard of awards such as Outstanding Hairstyling For A Single-Camera Series and Outstanding Sound Editing For A Series.

The biggest awards are Best Series (Drama), Best Supporting Actor for Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Best Supporting Actress for Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister and Best Guest Actress for Diana Rigg as Lady Olenna Tyrell.

A few amazing episodes have also stood out in the awards nominations and are up for multiple awards.

Thelionandtherose3The Lion and Rose is up for Outstanding Cinematography For A Single-Camera Series, Outstanding Costumes For A Series and Outstanding Hairstyling For A Single-Camera Series.

The episode, The Oathkeeper is up for Outstanding Makeup For A Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic) as well as the whole series being nominated for Outstanding Casting For A Drama Series, Outstanding Interactive Program for the Game of Thrones Premiere and Outstanding Stunt Coordination For A Drama Series, Miniseries Or Movie.

The Emmy Awards Highlights will be televised in the UK on Sky Living on Tuesday 26th from 8.30pm.
