Breaking Dawn Part 2 Scoops SEVEN Awards in the Teen Choice Awards 2013.

Last night in the US, saw the results of the Fox networks 2013 Teen Choice Awards. As mentioned in our previous post, the cast and the film was nominated for no less than NINE awards in eight categories.

See the previous post, with a full listing of all the Saga’s nominations HERE.

The show was hosted by Glee’s Darren Criss and Pretty Little Liars Lucy Hale at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.  There was initially a live stream we could watch over here in the UK, but it cut out. Thankfully some very helpful girls SamWard found via Instagram were kind enough to run an ustream so it could be watched.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 literally wiped the floor, winning seven of the nine nominations, although due to the fact that the announcements were not made when the show was on air, because there was no cast in attendance to accept the awards.

Robert Pattinson won Best Actor in a Movie Romance

Taylor Lautner won Best Actor in a Movie Sci-Fi/Fantasy (Robert was also nominated.)

Kristen Stewart won Best Actress in a Movie Romance AND Best Actress in Sci-Fi/Fantasy

Kellan Lutz won the award for Best Scene Stealer

Breaking Dawn Part 2 also won its two categories it was nominated in – Best Movie Romance and Best Movie Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

One award has still yet to be announced, and that was Best Liplock, which Kristen and Rob were nominated for, Edward and Bella being re-united, with Bella being a vampire in Breaking Dawn Part two. We’ll keep you updated if anything comes up.

Sadly (and after staying up and not getting to sleep until just past four this morning!) because there was no cast attendance, there are no nice new pictures of our favourite trio to give you. Above is from last years Teen Choice Awards.

Thank you to everyone who voted this time around, it all counted, and although I’m sure many of you will be upset about Breaking Dawn not getting the acknowledgement it deserves this year, be glad that even after all this time, and five films, it still comes out on top every single time. Twilight will always be #1.

I stole this from my Facebook feed this morning, and I have to agree this morning…

Don’t cry because it’s over – smile because it happened.

Twilight Forever.

Biggest congratulations to Robert, Kristen, Taylor and Kellan for their individual wins last night, and of course to Bill Condon and the rest of the cast who made the success possible.

Full list of winners can be found HERE.
