Fans Descend on Westfield’s London as Breaking Dawn Part 2 DVD/Blu-ray Launches

Fans from all over the country travelled down to Westfield’s in London this weekend for the official launch of Breaking Dawn Part 2 on DVD and Blu-ray. Last night saw the nocturnal billboard light up the as the hours then minutes countdown to the beginning of launch.

“A huge part of the entire saga has always been the fans, so we knew that this final release had to cater to them,” said Entertainment One Senior Project Manager Jeff Suter. “The nocturnal screen at Westfield has provided a meeting place for the Twi-hards to join together and celebrate what has been an incredible journey.”

Fan Emma Jones from Newcastle, who travelled down to London from her home in Newcastle – admits she still can’t believe it’s the end.

“I wanted to come down today to see all the other fans for one last time,” she said. “I’ve been to every London premiere since the first film, there was no way I was going to miss the last gathering.

“I still can’t believe it’s the end, I’m devastated, but seeing the nocturnal advert come to life was a really special moment and something that I’ll remember forever.”

And Holly Miles, who took part in yesterdays PR launch said –

“My friends and family think I’m bonkers for loving a film so much,” she said. “I had to come down and be with my fellow Twi-hards though…there were even two topless werewolves who looked like Taylor Lautner who made it completely worth the trip down to London!”

Fans were also able to use the Twiline from a red telephone box where they could listen to a 30 seconds message which snagged them a goodie bag and enabled them to buy their DVD a day early. Some posted about this on The Twilight Saga Official UK facebook page

Tj Nash ~ The phone line isn’t actually a service it’s just an automated message talking about re-living all the films on DVD an playing sound clips from the movies. Would have been a bit far to actually set up a helpline i think but worth listening to today for a free goodie bag, lol

Toni-Stephanie Nash ~ Def worth listening to the 30 second message for my free goody bag!! And bought the dvd 1 day early!!! Gd times

It looks like it’s been a really successful weekend and we are glad everyone who attended have fun!
